My sister, Dixie, and I had a wonderful visit to St. Patrick’s School in N.E. Calgary.

We read A Prairie Girl and a Gopher, and talked about our Prairie wildlife, and the cycle of grain farming ending with farming action song.

Teacher Pamela (thank you Pamela) had made a display of different grains (with help from our dad), and each child went home with a small sample of red spring wheat.

We thoroughly enjoyed visiting with such delightful kids and teachers ☀️🌾
